GOD’S GLORY

  • The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Psalms 19:1
  • You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy. Leviticus 19:2
  • Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. Revelation 4:11
  • And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30

MAN’S SIN

  • Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalm 51:5
  • your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. Isaiah 59:2
  • None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God.  All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one. Romans 3:10-12

CHRIST’S ATONEMENT 

  • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
  • Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:36
  • In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10 
  • but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
  • But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
  • For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

CONVERSION

  • Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3
  • But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.  John 1:12
  • if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
  • everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13
  • Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
  • I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 14:6
  • And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
  • No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. 1 John 2:23
  • No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:3
  • If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
  • Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
  • For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

ETERNAL LIFE 

  • The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10
  • All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. John 6:37
  • Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:12-13
  • The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.  Romans 8:16
  • Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
